Producing for more than 18 years, the Guadalupe Production Centre is a 500-tonne-per-day ("tpd") crushing and flotation plant and is the Company's primary operating and processing facility. Since acquiring the project in 2006, IMPACT has carried out an extensive program of upgrading operations and expanding production. The Company has upgraded most of the mining equipment, including the expansion of the tailings dam, which is ongoing.
PROJECT SNAPSHOT
The Guadalupe Production Centre is currently fed by four underground mines from an extensive epithermal vein system including underground mines known as Guadalupe, San Ramon, Alacran, and Cuchara, as well as the Veta Negra open pit mine. Ongoing exploration activity provides a multi-year production horizon with a focus on maintaining high grades, optimal production, and cost control. While historically a primarily silver operation, an increasing amount of gold is being produced from the Alacran mine.
GUADALUPE PRODUCTION CENTRE
Going forward, exploration continues to target higher-grade vein systems, including the recently announced high-grade discovery of the Kena Vein. Meanwhile, a focused program of definition and step-out drilling in the area is designed to outline additional feed sources for the mill.
